Nebraska GIS Annual Report and Strategic Plan - 2006.    The December 2006 GIS Annual Report and Strategic Plan , "Building a Spatial Data Infrastructure for Nebraska" by the Nebraska GIS Steering Committee.  Previous Annual Report are here.

Nebraska GIS Enterprise Shared Services.  In January 2006 the State Government Council of the Nebraska Information Technology Commission (NITC) adopted GIS as one of its "shared services" initiatives and outlined three action items, which were adopted as action items as a part of the 2005-06 Statewide Technology Plan.  Internet Mapping Services

Nebraska Geospatial Data Exchange and Web Services Network.  An index page for material related to an effort to develop an enterprise-lever geospatial data exchange portal to serve the geographic area of Nebraska and the GIS user community in Nebraska. 

GIS and Homeland Security Recommendations. "The Use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) To Support Homeland Security - Recommendations For Emergency Management And Bioterrorism Response In Nebraska", an 11-2002 interagency report developed by the Nebraska GIS Steering Committee to guide GIS development for Homeland Security and Bio-terrorism applications

Nebraska Land Records Modernization Study.  A series of reports assessing the current situation with land records management in Nebraska, models in other states, and proposals for a Nebraska Land Information Systems Program. 

Watershed Boundary Dataset.  A general resource page for an interagency Working Group exploring the merits and possibilities of developing an enhance Watershed Boundaries Dataset (WBD) for Nebraska.

Facilitating Geospatial Data Sharing.  A resource page containing link to a range of background material related to the establishment and work of an Advisory Committee on Facilitating Geospatial Data Sharing.

Nebraska GIS Steering Committee Home Page. Primary Internet connecting page for all activities and information related to the Nebraska GIS Steering Committee. 

Statutes Governing the GIS Steering Committee. The Nebraska statutes that created and govern the Nebraska Geographic Information System Steering Committee. 

Water Resources Database Advisory Committee. Index of a variety of reports and minutes related to the efforts of an interagency geospatial Database Advisory Committee authorized by the Nebraska GIS Steering Committee to draft action plans for the development, maintenance, and distribution of priority geospatial databases related to water resources. 

Multipurpose Land Information System Guidelines. A project to develop guidelines and standards for Local Government Multipurpose Land Information Systems. An evolving set of draft guidelines, for which comment and feedback are welcome. 

Working Paper on Facilitating Land Record Modernization in Nebraska.  A July '96 report by an intergovernmental Property Parcel Task Force of the Nebraska GIS Steering Committee.  Provides background and examines the issues related to facilitating land record modernization.  Provide recommendations for future steps or actions.
